Many thanks to all of you who read my accounts and a little more to those who shared their thoughts in the comment section or in person. This has been a journey of a life time! I had so many doubts in the beginning but in the end I was able to haul myself all the way up their and get down too! They say in the mountains, it is the mountain that decides whether you can complete a trek or not. I am glad they decided in my favor this time. Quite rightly said – it is the mountain that decides whether or not it will let you set your foot on its territory.
And there have been treks Madhukar, easier than this when they said no to me as well!
lovely detailed writeup, enjoyed reading it and could co-relate a lot of thigs since i just came from the trek my self. Yet to complete my blog. Somehow, i had a good time with food, enjoyed the thupkas, pies and Burgers they served, never had dal ..bhat there were always tastier things

Great post! Hope more people get into writing the gripping travel stories and promote tourism in Himalyas. And I agree with Paul’s comment, there should be good compensation for digital content creation.
