I actually wanted to zoom in to the sun and wait for some birds to fly across. I realized that the zoom is not that good and that birds were really not interested in flying across for my picture. Hence settled down for this shot instead.

I love the contrast of the golden color of the sun against the gray tones of the sky and landscape. Very nice Mridula.
But without anything special, this simple image is beautriful in itself. In fact the main attraction in the image is the sun which looks just perfect 🙂
