Mustard Fields on the Oxford-London Highway

Mustard Fields on the Oxford London Highway

I took this picture of the mustard fields from a moving bus while going back to London from Oxford. And what the eyes saw was much better than what I could capture with the camera. I have also discovered that however much I try to stay awake and take in the scenes I sometimes fall asleep on the way, like on this bus ride. And then I wonder what did I miss!

  1. Nice shot I must admit, even from a moving bus…this tells much about the quality of road network, couldn't easily possible to replicate the same in India.

  2. i can understand when u say 'what the eyes saw was much better than what I could capture with the camera' … i had the same feeling after riding thru the sunflower and marigold fields in gundulpet. i guess there is some special formula to capture these landscapes :((btw … did u take this pic from a speeding bus? too good if thats the case

  3. This is a beautiful image. Would you object ot my using it as a general illustration in an article about oil seed rape and mustard that I am writing to post on my own blog?

  4. Your photography is too gud. I understand you have mastered the photography skills over the years. The mustard fields look lovely and appeasing!
