Yes but a correction – if I am not wrong it is bante wale goli mostly available at Chandni Chowk or Delhi streets – correct?

This is exactly what we use to do during college trips. Once we went to Robber’s Cave in Dehradun and found dhabawala’s doing the same thing to keep cold drink cool…..
Appu my nephew also said the same but I have never tried Bante wale goli.
