Busy as a Bee!

Posted on February 17, 2009
Till Friday, it is going to be raining photos at Travel Tales from India. I really liked the results I got with the photo of the yellow rose with a bee. I have taken it with my Nikon point and shoot with absolutely zero expectations. And what a beautiful shot it turned out to be (at least in my eyes).

Yellow Rose with a Bee
Siesta Time

No, there was no siesta time for me and I am not on a holiday. I am managing to take these pictures during the course of my day spent at another university in Delhi.

I like the yellow rose and bee, too. Very pretty. And very sunny. And very warm. I’m missing that warm, sunny yellow here in Minnesota.

I love how you capture moments which soothe many more senses than just the visual sense. After all it is a ‘photo’ and should be visual right? But no, Mridula’s photo of the yellow flower with the bee makes me hear the buzzing and breathe the warm fresh air in which the flower is basking! I really like how you compose your pictures…..Siesta pictures transports me from cleveland to delhi at a molecular level……it is agian the same magic of composition….I can feel the restfulness these people are experiencing!
