When you travel alone you have to find ways to include yourself in the photographs! I spent very little time at Ambleside. The cruise that I took from Windermere was up to Ambleside. But on the first day I was taking it easy and I took a late evening cruise. So it gave me very little time before the last boat was going back to Windermere. I noticed that YHA property at a very prime location, just next to the lake at Ambleside. Other than that I just walked around a little and then headed back to Windermere. But whatever little I saw, I found it pretty.
