Tree Pie has been the other elusive bird in and around my place. I have posted their pictures before. But I think these are a little better. They were taken yesterday along with the butterflies. Let us see if I can get out today again to click a few more butterflies.
in the second picture, it seems that the bird is looking at you 🙂 if not literally posing. very good capture.

lovely capture..I like this bird a lot..i see it virtually everyday at home in Madras and Im yet to get a decent picture of it
I also see then almost daily Lakshmi but they are difficult to photograph, they usually don’t let me creep close enough.
Never even knew about this bird till now. Thanks to your blog, I have started noticing birds around me though their names still confuse me. Nevertheless, its a beginning and thats due to you, thank u , my friend.
