Parrot on a Clothes Line
These parrots were clicked on Sunday while Chhavi was playing around. There are two consequences of this. She knows when mom is pointing the camera away from her and particularly at the birds it is time to pick up a little mud and put it in her mouth!

The second and the better consequence is that when she spots a bird she makes her baby noises and tires to draw my attention towards it.

Great! so we have another 'birder-in-the-making'… and dont worry about the mud.. all kids do it… and very soon grow out of it!!!

Aww….pica cravings may be? Mridula, I am not an expert on this but sometimes eating non-food items can be a sign of iron-deficieny or deficiency of other minerals in the body. You may wish to check out with an expert on this.
Indica thank you for the suggestion, the doctor has already given her iron drops and she rarely eats mud now but when I am engrossed in taking a bird picture!
