Rattling Bus Sound, India

I recently trekked to Valley of Flowers and Hemkunt Sahib. Reaching to the start of the trek is a task in itself. The bus that I took from Delhi to Haridwar, Haridwar to Rishikesh and then Rishikesh to Joshimath. All the buses (apart from Haridwar to Rishikesh) were rickety, the windows would continuously go khat khat khat. It was such a ‘bone crunching’ bus journey. This was my third time to Joshimath and it remains such a difficult place to reach! I remember it used to take 12 hours earlier. This time it took 10 hours.

I recorded that bus sound and then superimposed it with the pictures from Valley of Flowers and Hemkunt Sahib Trek.
