After giving my Canon D350 a dip on the sea shore at Havelock I ended up buying the Canon D550 rather sooner than I thought! For quite sometime I wanted to click a picture of the camera. Today Chhavi was peaceful sleeping and the light also was good at that hour. I was struggling to find a suitable backdrop and then decided on a jacket that Chhavi wears in the winters. So the colorful backdrop that you see in the picture is actually her jacket. And I used my cell phone to click the picture! I think whatever little tricks I am trying these days it is because of reading Digital Photography School website.
Its an awesome camera, but the backdrop leaves a lot to be desired 😉 Looking forward to many more awesome pics from you 🙂

Oh that’s great, Mridula! I’ve been vaccillating between getting a Canon 1100D or the 550 D for the last couple of weeks. I’m more inclined to the 1100 because it seems less complicated and making that great leap from a Point & Shoot doesn’t seem as scary. How do you like the 550?

Is that the T2i camera? I am still struggling with the decision which Canon I should buy. I was lugging around the old 35mm EOS 5 until this spring, when ‘she’ finally gave in. I hope you’ll share some experiences you have with this camera:)
