Roof Top View of Taj Mahal
What happens when you reach to see Taj Mahal on Friday? You have to be contented by viewing it from the roof top of nearby restaurants as the Taj Mahal is closed on Friday. Even though we didn’t go there on Friday we sat on one of the roof top restaurants because of the queue we encountered in the evening. We had gone inside in the morning of our one day trip.
And it is because I am trying to write a paper on online destination image of Agra, along with two other authors that you find my blogging so patchy these days! And this state of affairs will continue at least till the end of October.
I wish you write this paper soon. So that we can resume our normal routine. 🙂
See, you said it and I am already back to a little bit normal.
It appears to me that a new aspect of the Taj’s beauty is high-lighted from every new angle that one views/photographs it from.:)
Sidhu, the monument is stunning, no doubt.
Hi Mridula,Can you suggest me some good roof top restaurant from where I can get a good view of Taj? We are going to be there on a full moon day, but we’ll be there only for a day, so advance booking is not possible. Tried through travel agents, but the charges are exorbitant :-(. So thinking of viewing it from roof tops .
Hi,But just walk through the Taj Ganj area and go to any place that says it has a roof top restaurant. I mean the area next to Taj is quite grubby and they rush you off from the roof top restaurants. Folks at the message board at Indiamike say you can see the Taj from the Shanti Lodge. I have forgotten he name of the place from where I took the picture but it is in the same lane. Hope this helps a bit.
