Then there used to be this very famous poster (in other people’s rooms) when I was at IITK (Ph.D days) where in the most troubled times there are only one set of footprints visible on the sands of time! Heck even in this picture only one set of footprints are visible but those are very well mine and these are sands of Surathkal beach and not sands of time! And I guess it is better that way (I wonder how will I feel if I look at this picture say even 5 years from now) 😀
By now you must have realized that I am a miserable flop when I try to philosophize! So what were my real thoughts when I tried to compose the shot above? That I thoroughly enjoy walking, footprints be damned, but they sure do look good in a picture! I only wish I was a better photographer and the picture was a little sharper.
So, what are your thoughts about the sands of time?
I guess the next post will be on that Half coconut shell lying on the beach????
Yet another post that refers to Surathkal beach (4th?).Don’t know about sands of time, but on sands on beach – I try capturing crabs on camera. This give sme another idea – would post a crab-video and some pictures soon.
just 2 say u have immense talent boss..mridula,,keep upthe great work..
Shrinidhi, now that is an idea!Kalyan, I would love to watch the crab video.Rmesh, you are kind, thanks.
The footprints appear suddenly and then disappear. I can try to figure out that you dumped the coconut, took a leap and turned midair to take the pic. What i cant figure out is how the sudden appearance. :o)
Paradox, thanks for the laugh. You know I walked around the coconut and then took the picture.
Footprints on the sands of time only reminds me of two things-one, my Karwar trip last year and the other, my fav poems by Longfellow ..
Thanks for sharing Lakshmi.
