Lazy Sunday Photo- A Cute Pair of Jungle Babblers

Posted on November 21, 2010

The Jungle Babblers didn’t like my intrusion. They were making cute faces before they spotted me with the camera.

A Touch of Blue!

Posted on November 20, 2010

Caught this butterfly on the same day Chhavi and I went exploring around the railway tracks. These small flowers (they are barely visible as the butterfly entirely covers it) were growing along the tracks and there were a lot of butterflies. What an unusual place to find butterflies!

Posted on November 19, 2010

Clicked this one while Chhavi was playing outside. Suddenly noticed the insect and decided to fetch the camera. Since the Pink Rain Lilies grow in our own garden (if I can call it so) I really do not get excited about then often.

Posted on November 11, 2010

I spent quite some time inside the Hawa Mahal this time in Jaipur. In this post I bring you the various shapes of the glasses used in the windows and the doors of the palace. The glasses are such that people from inside the palace can look outside but nothing is visible from the outside…

For Your Walls!

Posted on November 10, 2010

More Colors from the Jauhari Bazaar in Jaipur. These are meant to be used as wall hangings I think!

Jaipur City

Posted on November 9, 2010

Another view of the Jaipur city from the hot air balloon. If you squint your eyes you can see the Jal Mahal in the middle of the water body in the picture.
