A Young Mango Sapling Sprouting Due to Rain
Whenever I eat a mango I throw away the seed in the garden. So when the rain falls (and it fell in buckets yesterday, led to water logging all around and added 45 minutes extra to my commute due to traffic jams) they start sprouting. But my garden is so small that after a while I will give these away. There is just no space for me to grow mangoes in my garden. But while it is there, it looks so beautiful!
In my high school we'd a mango tree. Legend is that the school first started under that tree. The tree use to give unripe mangoes, I still remember the tickle. Living at second floor can only have this disadvantage, you cannot have a garden.
Will is always important And I can see you have the same.Congrats !!!
thats a lovely sight..
Oh my! Such a big tree comes from such a small sapling 🙂
no place?? how sad..so i should forget mango gift from my dear friend..hey good post yaar..cheers
Tarun when I was growing up there were mango trees around too! And what fun they are to climb up to.Thanks Hobo and Mindspace.Doli yes :DWell said VS but that is not true, I would just give it away.Ramesh 😀
Now if giving away includes some monetary component, it would amount to 'aam ke aam, guthliyon ke daam'.
i luv the tender leaves look on a mango tree sapling. infact, even in a grown one it looks so beautiful! i wud've liked the pic better if u didnt use the flash though 🙁
Ah! Lucky you! If I planted a mango seed in my garden it would never survive the winter!
What to do Sandeep I was quite tried after my commute and the light was bad and I did not have the patience to wait till the weekend 🙁
Kelly you and I were typing on almost the same time! Even I would have to give it away because I have no space for a big tree.
