Flying Through the Turbulence: A Polite Request to Kuwait Airways for Refund

Dear Kuwait Airways,

You and I go back a long time, to 2018 when we flew to Paris and back! 

I booked a ticket to Tbilisi this year for June. You cancelled that flight. I wrote on X, you asked me to talk through DM which we did. Your team gave me an email via DM and asked me to wait for 30 days after applying for a refund. Which I did. Nothing happened. 30 days came and went. 

Every subsequent email gets an auto response and nothing beyond that. It is only your X team that seems to be human and good ones too.

The thing is I understand that we are going through turbulent times and it is not your fault. But would you issue me a ticket if I said I would pay you whenever I can? So why should my refund be at an indefinite date? You tell me it will be refunded as soon as you can, but my credit card bill will not understand this logic!

I am doing this in the hope of getting my money back. I have no other issues. Maybe one, of the lack of human interaction other than the DM on X. I would have taken a voucher, afterall I love to travel, if I was confident that things will improve but I am not.

So, please issue my refund so that I can earn interest on it and book again with you when times are better, because your ticket prices are super nice!
