Mustard Field

Sunset along a Mustard Field

This Sunday I went on the bird round along with Brat 1 (my elder nephew). With him I can venture out further. Got some bird pictures but also realized that I could photograph the mustard fields nearby. But the trouble on Sunday was that I only had the 70-300mm zoom lens with me. So, I photographed the fields with my cell phone.

I have been drooling over the mustard fields since the last year. I see huge ones on my way to work but never managed to stop and photograph them. I am waiting for the coming weekend (I know it is a bit early to wait for the weekend on a Tuesday) when I will venture out armed with the wide angle lens as well. Finally, I do not need to stop on my way to work to photograph a mustard field.

  1. Did you manage any photo of the mustard field with your 70-300? I am sure that the sunset would have been definitely appealing. In fact, I always use my zoom lens (100-400) for sunsets. I find such photos to offer a total new dimension to our eyes.
