Snapshots from Odisha

I particularly got attracted to this picture because of the reflections. But I have to let you in to a secret. In reality there were a lot of wires behind the temple, I just managed to keep them out of this shot.

Egrets at Mangalajodi, Odisha

Doing bird photography with the wide angle lens! But sometimes it for sure makes for different pictures.

Even though I liked this frame, wish I could get an elevation and click the boats nearby as well.

Chilika Lake, Barkul, Odisha

The boat you can see in the right hand upper corner is the most expensive one that can be rented on the Chilika Lake but looking at its condition I don’t think it is much in demand.

And finally this pretty young girl, spotted at Konark, even though she was not posing for me!

nice photos. water is looking so blue in 2nd and 4th photo. 2nd one is amazing because of Egrets and all colors so vivid and contrasting. girl is looking cute and presentably dressed. just wandering if you took her permission for taking her photo and publishing it over here ?

Nilesh that is a tough one to answer. There are two school of thoughts to street photography, one the ask permission and the other take a picture, it is legal as long it was done in a public place. I can not use it commercially say on Getty without model release.

Thanks for taking a look at my Getty pictures!

    Thanks Vaish.

Rajesh April will get a it hot but Odisha is quite beautiful.

Thanks Meena. The beach was for sure not too crowded.
