Absolutely!! agree with both you and lakshmi… just saw the Aamir Khan ad for Incredible India yesterday and was wondering how many defacers and people taking advantage of tourists would be seeing it, and how many would actually change!

No No I disagree…it is love, it is love, it is the outpouring of emotions, it is the humans way to leave a mark….Haven’t u heard the statement “LOVE KILLS”

Surely somethings are always murdered for the sake of love.

He did not wear his scarlet coat,
For blood and wine are red,
And blood and wine were on his hands
When they found him with the dead,
The poor dead woman whom he loved,
    And murdered in her bed.
    -Oscar Wilde

But you only change woman for Tree or any monument

I was also thinking about the efforts taken by our Indian Tourism, roping in Aamir Khan to create awareness. But what affect it has that on public is yet to be ascertained.
