Delhi feels like Palampur right now! I remember how cold it was at Palampur in Himachal Pradesh. If you take out the view, NCR feels like it right now!
And there are so many people without warm clothes. What do you think of the various drives for collecting warm clothes? Or do you prefer to give directly to the people around you?
The drive to collect is a good idea provided that the clothes are distributed and not sold in the black market. But I would be reluctant to be doing it, I prefer to give it directly to the needy.
Awesome capture.
Nice pic….I usually refer giving it myself.
I prefer to help directly around me.
I just heard it from my Delhi friends how cold it is there. There could be a charity collection from every household that could give warm fleece, blankets, sweaters and distribute it to people who don’t have it.
Since I can’t donate directly, I give to Goonj.org, who’re doing an awesome job!
I know how terrible this can be. I remember once that i had to travel from Madurai to Bangalore in a winter night train without a jacket, and the experience was painful, and to think of people living in temperatures touching freezing point, is nothing short of a nightmare.
I prefer to donate directly!
Awesome capture, Mridula 🙂
The temperature in my town went down to minus 0.4dC on a couple of days! All records broken!!
N welcome back 🙂
Hi Mridula,
Wow, lovely click. I can feel the cold, piercing breeze through the picture itself, it must be really cold out there. Good click.
Happy Winters to you 🙂
Regards
Jay

The place I live in, there are quite a lot of poor around us. So, I directly give to those who need them. Good snap.
There are a few organizations that I trust, but even I prefer to donate it directly. That way you are more satisfied. Beautiful capture !
