When the Ground Moves Beneath Your Feet!

Sparrows

These sparrows remind me of the day at Naldehra when the ground moved beneath my feet for a moment. This was day 2 and I was walking in the direction of the Dharampur village. I had reached the small village market where there was a gathering of people, all curious about the newcomer to their market, obviously a tourist.

There was a patch on the road that was full of small pebbles. All my attention was focused on looking here and there to see if there were birds, flowers or anything that was click worthy. Then it happened. With so many eyes on me, the ground moved from beneath my feet. I thought I am going to fall and make a scene but thankfully, I know not how I managed to land back on my feet again. I have to admit I looked firmly at the ground for quite sometime to see where I was going. But then after a while … it was scanning for the birds and the flowers again.

It would have been worth to take the fall for THAT beautifully captured shot (of course, without getting hurt;).
