The Top Ten Posts for 2015

Posted on December 27, 2015February 16, 2022

While selecting posts, I was sorely tempted to increase the count to 15 but in the end I restricted the top ten posts for 2015 to 10 only. And whatever may be my confusions at the moment in my life, I did feel blessed while drawing it. I wish I could draw from 10 to 1 but I couldn’t, each one of the posts and trips are equally memorable to me! This list random but definitely my top 10!

Songkran in Thailand

Songkran in Thailand

I loved Songkran because it was an excuse to indulge in fun, I was impressed because anyone could take part, rank strangers like us could join in! Now that is called community celebration!

Parasailing in Goa for Double Trouble

Double Trouble in Goa

Double trouble (my niece and daughter also known as Brat 3 and 4) took only one vacation together this year but they managed to go Parasailing in Goa. I quite easily do adventure activities myself but it was tougher letting them go! They were bouncing with excitement both before and after it!

Kumarakom Lake Resort

I will always remember Kumarakom Lake Resort. It was a beautiful place, but there are many beautiful places in this world! They treated me like a princess! Now that is something that you can’t expect everywhere! It was also a place where I had whole things to myself, like a whole pool in my villa, a whole houseboat and a whole canoe!

Six Months After I Quit My Job

I know you just read the, but it is close to my heart. I guess I am confused because I loved academics too. Travel came later actually, but I hope whatever it is, travel will cure it.

Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia

The City Mosque

I got invited on a trip to Kota Kinabalu in Sabah, it is a beautiful region. But I got a bad spell of weather there. So I need another trip! Let us see if that happens. This was my third trip to Malaysia, so who knows?

Breakfast by the Stream with JW Marriott Mussoorie

Breakfast by the Stream

It is not every day that I sit inside a stream and eat my breakfast. On my treks I have sat by the streams, munched on food as well. So I am no stranger to streams and food. But if it is a occasion, if it needs to be special, the breakfast by the stream is pretty special! Do remember that!

Pak Klong Talat, the Flower Market in Bangkok

I have been to Pak Klong Talat twice and I can happily go there again. It is a colorful place, it is a place full of energy and smells! It is a place where beautiful photographs happen!

Traveling Business Class with Singapore Airlines and Silk Air

Business Class Travel!

It is not everyday that I travel business class, heck Singapore Airlines/Silk Air trip to Kota Kinabalu was the only time I traveled business class. And what fun it was! They also take the ‘treating like a princess’ business quite seriously!

The One and Only Chandratal

Chandratal and I- A Love Story!

I was at Chandratal, there were blue skies, what more could I ask for? It happened after many tries is another story!
