The Spa and the Salon at the Della Adventure, Lonavala

Posted on March 30, 2011

On day 1 at 11.00 pm at night Avantika and Sanyukta asked me, will you like to go for a massage now? I inwardly groaned, because I was ready to fall asleep standing. But then I decided that I will give it a try. The venue was Della Adventure and I was on an invitation there. So off we went to the Spa and Salon, which are located in the same building. This part is located on the Della Enclave side. Will talk about the Della Enclave in my next post but not sure if it is going to happen tomorrow.

So, 11.00 pm at night on a weekend we could still find the Spa open and I went in for a Swedish Massage. When I came after an hour both the girls asked me about my experience. I have to admit it was a good idea and I found it quite relaxing. Another thing stuck me quite strongly. I cannot remember in ages when was it last time that I was awake and kept still for an hour! Looks like it never ever happens after a while. Or it only happens when I can’t fall asleep on a rare day and that is not a good experience.

About the Salon I guess the picture says it all. That is my new haircut ( you can see the old broom style in the profile picture of this blog) that I acquired at Della. The stylist seen in the picture is Alex (he said his real name is Sailesh but everyone calls him Alex) and he just did wonders with my hair. The trouble is I don’t know how to maintain it like that! So I have gone back to my broom style.

the broom style usage seems funny. I used to call my hairs that way. They were thick and like jungles.. 🙂
