The Morning Fog Today

Posted on January 6, 2010

The Fog In the Morning Today

When I started my morning commute today it looked a little foggy but nothing really to worked up about. So when the guy on the FM declared, “be careful it is very foggy”, I thought maybe I would escape it.

From the Car park the Building is not Visible!

It remained true till I parked my car and joined my colleague for the rest of the drive towards work. Then it started, the dense thick fog, and I was very thankful that I was not driving. I had only my cell phone with me but still I took some pictures. Let us see what happens in the evening. Even now I can’t see anything from my office window right now apart from the closest lamp post.
Added a little later-

Bit of Sun Out Now and Gone Again!

But as I clicked this picture from my office window (hence two suns and the reflection) the sun is trying to vanish and then coming out again.

Haven't experienced fog of this kind. The third picture, the sun, and the reflection I thought the street lights are on.

Shrinidhi, 😀 I for sure can't predict that one.Tarun I am also quite scared of fog as the driving becomes very difficult.Shrinidhi, fog is nice when we are on vacation and walking but morning commute for sure becomes difficult.Anonymous I don't know :DJyoti I was in office!Doli I was lucky that for the dense part I was not driving.Anu I agree with you 😀 on all three counts.Nisha taking flights and trains for sure becomes quite tricky.Thank you Bindu.Thank you Sandeep.Abhilash, I do edit some of my pictures using Picasa but with my cell phone there is not much scope.

I called my mother and she was telling that it is too cold and surounded with fog that people avoided to get out of houses after 7 PM.I like the second picture. Mridula I think you should touch the images slightly after they are recorded by your camera. This will help provide a glow to the images.

Sangfroid here it is just plain cold, quite cold. And such a pain to drive in the fog but it for sure makes for good pictures.
