Sugarcane Truck

Sugarcanes being transported in Gurgaon
The Sugarcane Truck

I am actually quite fond of eating sugarcanes so when I saw this truck filled with them I had to click a picture. I also liked the fact that the sugarcanes were stacked quite neatly. Now I have to get around and buy a good point and shoot camera. So that sometimes I can click pictures on the go (when I am not driving) and they are of a better quality. My current cell phone is not too great for taking pictures.

It has also happened that I have almost exhausted the stock of my file photos (well not really but it feels like that) and I can’t see a big trip happening anytime soon.

January during harvest festival, in Tamil nadu the trucks make a beeline to the towns from villages carrying heaps of sugarcane. They would be piled up on the roads like a fort , a sight to behold.

hey, the sugarcanes were packed neatly because thats the only way they can fit into the truck and not fall off midway! and i just had sugarcane juice yesterday… and am going to have one today too!!

and do look for some more pics for us…. cant do without them! as to a vacation, is there no chance of a short one?????

I am trying Tarun! I agree they must be in the fields.

Lakshmi 😀 I mean I am really forced to search now!

Chitra next time click a picture.

Anu then you must be having a good and hygienic shop nearby? I am going to Bangalore in mid May but that is to visit family. That will still yield some new pictures. Let us see if I can squeeze in something else.
