Some Details of a Dragonfly

I wonder how did the Dragonfly managed to tear part of its wing. Have been lucky with Dragonflies and Butterflies these days and soon enough it would be hopefully another kind of fly. But all in good time.

Awesome pic! i didnt even notice the torn off part of the wing and had to search for it…. we have been seeing a lot of dragon flies too, but have not been able to take a pic yet… samhith wanted to know why they were called dragon flies when they looked nothing like dragons! he said they should be called ‘helicopter flies’ since they looked more like copters than dragons!

Yes I remember we used to call them Helicopters during the childhood. Thanks for sharing Samhith’s take on Dragonflies.

Yes Abhilash, absolutely, I don’t know to me it was obvious at a glance 🙁
