Diamonds in the Sky

This one was clicked at Rishikesh in the afternoon. I was having trouble resizing this one, hence decided to post it at a smaller size. For more pictures of the skies please visit the Skywatch Page.

“Diamonds in the Sky”–an apt description for this dazzling display!

    SKY DITTY

    A little birdie told me,
    Although I don’t know why,
That if I were to look up,
    Way up into the sky,
    I’d see some wondrous planets,
The moon and sun and stars –
    There before my very eyes
    Blazed Jupiter and Mars!
