Sky Watch Friday- There are No Skies Like Spiti Skies

Posted on January 7, 2011
Sky at Spiti, Sunset
Evening Sky at Spiti, Himachal Pradesh, India

These days the sky in the city has been just one color mostly, Grey. And for the whole week I had been fretting what am I going to post for skywatch! But then I know I still have a few pictures in store from my Spiti trip in 2007. I wish I would go there again and this time I would pay proper attention to th sky, in 2007 all the sky pictures are incidental, I was not really aiming to capture it.

For more beautiful skies from around the world please visit the Skywatch page.

    Happy Skywatch viewing.

I do know how you feel about the gray skies that never seem to leave!! We’ve had lots of those lately — interspersed with lovely blue ones, but they never stay around for very long! I do hope your new year is going well, Mridula! Have a beautiful weekend!

Thanks Rajesh, that is the evening sun making the clouds red.

Lakshmi I hope you do visit Spiti but only if you take care of your health first.

    Thanks Lady Fi.
