Salam NSG

Posted on November 28, 2008
Salam NSG

Looking at the commandos of the NSG at Mumbai (MARCOS, Army, Other Security Forces too) I was wondering what kind of a job it is that when everyone is running away from a place, these guys are storming into that place! Hats off to all of you out there.

A few years back I used to work at a place that was somewhat close (many miles away actually) from an NSG compound. They are said to have so many jammers (communication jamming devices) installed that our internet reception would always be patchy (at least that is the excuse IT department gave to us) and it felt quite annoying then. Now, I would say may they add 100 more jammers, if it helps their cause even a bit.

You are so right. But terrorists get more sofisticated all the time. So I wonder if it ever will be possible to prevent such terror from happening in the first place.

Laksmhi it is sad beyond words. Fida, seems increasingly difficult that one would be able to prevent such attacks. Though ow knows what future holds.

It is sad beyond words about what happened in Mumbai. We were watching it day and night on the news and keeping the people in our prayers. There are so many injured and dead. Hats off to the NSG commandoes who did a good job. Hope we never have to see such a day again. I am glad that Mumbaikars are not taking this lightly and are asking for action this time.

I cant think of any political action that can make the situation any better. We need a totally new party that would consist of well educated and honest people with good intentions. I want some big public figure to step up and start such a party. I am sure a number of concerned citizens like us would love to actively contribute to such a party.

Vamsee, thanks for sharing that picture, it is lovely indeed. As for a better political party, I wonder when will that happen, not till we the people really demand it I believe.Dol, thanks for sharing our thoughts.
