Roses- One of the Unforseen Benefits of Attending Conferences

Posted on February 20, 2009
Rose in Bloom

Since Monday, I have been staying at my sister’s place and attending a training program at the Jamia Milla Islamia University.

Multicolored Rose

Apart from the main benefit of attending the conference, I was able to capture at least 20 beautiful images of roses. Jamia is just full of them.

Burning Bright- Another Rose from the Jamia Millia Islamia Gardens

But for me to be able to process more variety and some of the really good pictures, I have to reach Gurgaon first. So I would be blogging from the home base from tomorrow.

Nature is so full of wonder and beauty. The mix of colours in the pictures is worth admiring.Btw..I liked the title of the post too; almost as if you received a lot of attention. :o)

Didn’t know that JMI has such flowers in its gardens. Nevertheless, good captures. Reminds me of the Annual Flower Show at Lalbagh, Bangalore. Which, of course, I miss every year.

Hey, where did that ‘deserving’ part come from?

Paradox, there is certainly a story behind that but I don’t think I am going to tell it on my blog!

beautiful roses indeed!looks like u used picasa to blur out the background. may be u shud try to get it in-camera. next time try zooming in from a distance and using a larger aperture setting. guess ur camera supports upto f/2.8 and 3x zoom
