When I was in Bangalore in the first week of November, the weather was beautiful and I had a nice time going around with my camera.
Here are some more flowers from Bangalore, the first one is Poinsettia and the second one is a red anthurium! I have always been partial to flowers!
I am saying Bye Bye with this photo was clicked at the Bangalore Airport. I had a good time in Bangalore.
The 4th picture down, bright red with the pink stick, is an “Anthurium”. Quite sexy ;-)!

The climate of Bangalore must be a lot like Hawaii – nice and warm. I’ve never seen that fruit before. What does it taste like (assuming it’s edible)?

Well, being in Bangalore today, I must say its one city with a huge number of well maintained parks and greenery is abound here! Wait till summer to see roads being shadowed by gulmohar trees bearing bright red flowers! Ciao!
Crystal, I so happy people are not pointing it out so much or I would feel quite embarrassed!Ganga thank you and TDU, thanks for the name of the author.Nonentity, thanks.Indiacorporatewatch, no it is not Lalbagh, it is mostly taken from an apartment complex near Kanakpura and a few near Whitefield. I could not go to Lalbagh this time.Pooja, those red flowers are on my desktop as of now. I too like them a lot.Lily, I will probably never know what is Hawaii like 🙁 That fruit is edible and has small seeds inside and when it is ripe (not in picture) it is fleshy and sweet. Thanks Avik and Vanathi.Quatros, I do like the greenery but I feel the pollution levels have gone up like anything.
