On Twitter

Posted on February 28, 2009

I recently started using Twitter. I got interested after I read Max repeatedly talking about it on his blog. Given my fascination for all things online how long could I resist it?

Then I got a Tweet about Methodspace, a research methods community space (in Beta) by SAGE and at a conceptual I just love the idea.

I am not familiar with Twitter. Following your post I tried to understand the concept. I guess it will take a bit longer than just a glance. :o)

I’m always interested when people say that they have just started usinf twitter and love it. I’ve tried it but can’t get my head round it at the moment. It just seems like I’m writing notes for no one to see. My own profile page has updates coming through so fast I miss what a lot of peoplle are saying. I’ll stick with it for a while though and see what happens

Paradox, I too was a little perplexed with twitter initially but have got the hang of it, a little bit at least.CMB you can see from your email contacts who else is using twitter and very soon it becomes a conversation between friends.
