Mushrooms in the Wild, Purple Too!

Purple Mushrooms

I think I can stay on the theme of mushrooms for a few more posts! Not only my favorite soup is Cream of Mushroom, I like them as a vegetable dish as much. When it comes to Chinese I again would go for something that has mushroom in it. And on this trip to Naldehra I have clicked many wild mushrooms. Maybe in the next post I would post the various types that I saw.

It is getting more and more hectic at work and I missed a few posts as well. But I hope I will be back to my one post a day schedule.

Wish I would see one in the wild Shrinidhi!

Tarun why factory produced I though we got farm produced ones?

Lakshmi yes and the wild ones we would never dare to eat 😀

Dave post some pictures if you have.

Chitra, yes I would not try eating the wild ones.

We would get along food-wise pretty well 😉 I love mushrooms. Unfortunately, I don’t know enough to collect them personally – I always left that to my mother. She’s the queen of mushrooms and forages the forests every chance she gets. And then, she prepares so many different dishes…gosh, right now I get cravings for porcini with chives 🙂
