Lucknow through my Lens

Lucknow in Pictures

I was at IIM Lucknow, attending a tourism conference. What I liked a lot was the idea of the conference organizers to give us a day to see around Lucknow. So, I of course have clicked a lot of pictures. The time of the day was from late morning to noon, so too much light to click good pictures, still I have tried.

PS. If you are a conference delegate and if you would like to download a few pictures (or if you would like to see still pictures in an album), please click here. If you need any assistance in this regard, do not hesitate to let me know.

Nice, very nice. Lucknow is a city with a very vibrant and rich history. Did you know that famous thumari “Babul mora naihar chuton jaye” (sung by many famous singers) was writeen by Lucknow’s last nawab Wajid Ali Shah when he was exiled from Lucknow.Visit http://www.flickr.com/photos/djgold/661025 to see few rare photos of Lucknow. hey very well sequenced. Amazed at your work. Your a documentary person now! just that some of the subtitles cannot be seen because of the backdrop colour also being white. Perhaps you can touch up on them. And the background score is nice. Trust it would have been more ethnic if you could have experimented with some local Lucknowi or classical music tunes. And lastly I would like to know more about this tourism conference.

That’s funny 🙂 Just before I traveled to Switzerland, I had lunch at our local Indian eatery. The owner is from Luknow and was talking in vibrant colours about his hometown. Now, after seeing your pictures, I probably really should visit that town 🙂
