Leave Me Alone and I am Quite Vocal About it!

Another one from the hot afternoon outing. And when I say hot I mean more than 41-42 degree Celsius. So wherever there is a little water, these birds flock there, most of the time their beaks wide open. Feels like they are shouting at me to leave me alone, they can’t be bothered, it is way too hot and no sign of monsoon.

Pooja, the kind of summer we are having, anyone would be angry.

Doli, I too have never seen a bird opening its beak this wide.

Nilesh, it was standing like this for ages, managed to click more than one picture and posted the one where it looks really angry.

    Poor bird. Must be thirsty.
It’s almost 50 deg C already in this part of the world Mridula and the temp is only going to increase next month. And this is the first summer in many years that I am not travelling.
