Lazy Sunday Photo- On a Rainy Day Somewhere in UK

Rains on the Street- Through a Bus Window, Somewhere in UK

I borrowed this picture from Anil (I am posting it with his permission) as he had borrowed my camera for his recent trip to UK. Now I think that is a fair bargain!

This picture looks like one of those old paintings! Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog – but for some reason, the whole comment appeared jumbled in random characters, so would you please post it again? Maybe it’s because of the weblink. My account has been acting strange! Sorry about that.

I understand this photo was clicked from inside of a vehicle, probably a bus. Water deposit on the windshield has unnecessarily blurred the image. If the photo could have been clicked immediately after the wiper cleaned the glass it would have been much more better.. Current photo looks like an oil painting, as stated in comment aboveJust my opinion. Not to offend the photographer

Thanks Fida, I too liked it a lot. In fact I found it the best of the lot that I got to see.

The picture is of the High Street in Thame, Oxfordshire, about 14 miles east of Oxford.

Hi Mridula, my pleasure.I live in Thame and it often rains ! It was a surprise to see your picture. The town features frequently in the UK TV program “Midsommer Murders” and occasionally in “Morse”.

Thanks again. The picture above has been taken by my colleague. I do watch a little BBC (I read on the website much more) and right now on TV EPL is going on but I am not sure if we would get these programs in India?
