Just got back from a short vacation from Rishikesh. I clicked this picture at Lakshman Jhula where monkeys sit on the bridge and expect the people passing by will feed them.
This was our first real vacation with Chhavi. I have to say she is quite good when it comes to big things, like being woken up at 4.30 am and then being hauled around looking for a room! But once we got settled she always wanted to be lifted up! Thankfully she insists that her father is going to lift her up. With me she walks quite a lot. We can dare to think of another short break in the coming months. More pictures and a trip report will follow.
Nice that you managed to get out for a holiday.. I managed some monkey pictures too, yet to download though
kya sohna bandal hai…..
yeh bhi jhule ke maze le raha hai…
but they can be nuisance….once in Haridwar, when I went there for first time….a gang stole my cloths hung outside for drying…and tore up my innerwears…..
hehhe….strange..a single animal can evoke such memories
nice pic! the monkey looks like he has combed his hair well 🙂 looks neater than samhith does at times 🙂
great to hear that u managed with chhavi the first time… and samhith used to do that too… walk with me and be lifted by dad and grandparents….. 🙂
I hope u din went tht close to take a picture, coz last tym whn i went thr one of tht “curious” fellow came running checked my pocket, looked into my eyes as if saying bro u are like me beautiful and handsome :D:D took my precious chocolate and was eating it in full joy as if teasing me. 😛
they r dangerous too sumtyms.
anyways this chap looks happy with marie in hand holding it firmly, on a funny note i want to snatch this biscuit from him look into his eyes and tease him :D:D:D:D
Lakshmi do that soon!
Yes Tarun, monkey business is usually filled with memories.
Anu I agree with the monkey looking neater only I have to say neater than Chhavi! She just refuses to get her hair combed. 😀
Anshul, the fellow was on the Jhula and I was on the Jhula too! It was close but there were people between us. I remember once throwing away my chocolate to a monkey while at college because I feared otherwise it will snatch it. 😀
luved the blurred background. nice to see the chhavi is enjoying the trips – though i have to say i empathize with ur husband 🙂 coz my son also asks his dad to lift him up!
