Lazy Sunday Photo- Langza to Komik, Spiti

Posted on December 30, 2007
Anjan (our co-guide) on the way from Langza to Komik, Spiti Trek, 2007

Afternoon Siesta at the Kuari Pass Trek, 2006

This is what happens to us on many treks! I remember crashing on the lunch point from Komik to Demul walk. Only the others never took any picture 🙂 But that is the only time I can remember. I am not a big fan of afternoon siestas but with a big cold and a sore throat that has almost chocked my voice, the images look very tempting.

Aha, to be able to lie down in the open countryside and look up at the sky 🙂

I know Anil, and the first trip of 2008 is slated for Feb, and that seems so far away!

sleeping on the ground in tranquil places is one of my favourite hobbies. on the shores of the backwaters of sharavati, on beaches of goa, gokurna, karwar, kannur, in the hills of wayanad and coorg, and many other places, I have hibernated and always felt refreshed… 🙂

I try not to plonk down on any of the stops during a long trek, since restarting can become tougher otherwise.

Mridula, This is my first comment on your blog though I read it now and then. None of the photographs are visible either in this post nor in the ones previous to this. I remember going through your blog sometime back. That time I could see them all.
