Lazy Sunday Photo- Feasting on an Apple

For those of you who are wondering why this is called Yellow Vented Bulbul that is because of the color below its tail. The other one is called Red Vented Bulbul because of the red color below the tail.

One of my nephew’s had nibbled this apple and left it. I picked it up and left it for the birds along with some left over Idli. And then the fun started. It has been attracting a lot of birds. I could show a picture on the camera to Chhavi and say, “see the bird is eating apple, so you too eat.” And she finished more than half an apple which is some achievement.

nice one! quite a feast for the bulbul… i have also noticed that the bulbuls eat all the fruits,,, the crows refuse to touch them! of course, the crows allow the bulbuls to eat the fruits after they are done with the rice we keep for the birds!
