The Landing at Srinagar Airport, Jammu & Kashmir

The Landing at Srinagar

Posted on March 8, 2013May 18, 2021

Greetings from Gulmarg. I arrived here yesterday and there is a lot of snow in the area. I am staying at The Khyber (at their invitation) and it is a lovely place. However the picture I am going to share today is from our landing at Srinagar Airport.

It was such a beautiful approach to the airport! I was glued to my window seat. I am now sitting in the middle of a lot of snow.

This post is part of Sky Watch Friday. Do check it out, it is way too cool.

    Hi,

I stumbled upon your blog and I must say you’ve got some beautiful images of India here. After doing a 3 month road trip across India recently, I realized that one needs not step foot outside this country to come across the most amazing travel experiences and photo-ops – from the deserts of Kutch and Rajasthan, to the mountains of Arunachal – there’s so much to explore in India, and so much of it is not publicized at all.

    Keep exploring and sharing!
