Indian Pond Heron in Flight

Indian Pond Heron
In Flight

Sometimes I wonder why do I even bother to click birds! They fly away at the slightest of the movement, they would not let you come close and my zoom would not let me click them from too far away. I miss the days when I was content with clicking flowers. I also feel I should designate a day for posting birds or this is on the way to becoming a blurred bird blog!

Before reading the text i.e. just after seeing this picture, I thought to myself – its becoming a bird blog! And then I read your note to self and smiled. 🙂

Why bother to photograph bird? Precisely because “They fly away at the slightest of the movement, they would not let you come close”. That is a great shot, I wish for a better equipment so that I could photograph birds
