How Not to make a Video

Flowers at Jamia Millia Islamia University Campus- How Not to Make a Video!

I have done quite a few posts on the flowers that I saw at the Jamia Millia Islamia University Campus. On a whim I also made a video, uploaded it on Youtube, changed the voiceover of the video and forgot about it. I managed to see it again today and I know a little about how not to make a video.

I mean I know I used to do a lot of competitive middle distance running in a bygone era but there was no reason to run from flower to flower as if there was a prize for it! Then I was so monotonous, zooming in on every rose in the very same way as if there was another prize for consistency!

And whatever little you could have seen, Youtube managed to mess it up. On my realplayer, the quality is not that bad. I wonder why Youtube made it so grainy!

🙂 Actually, it’s all in the marketing. You should call it “a very picky bee goes looking for honey” and it fits in perfectly.

That is well try.I suggest with my little experience, the movement of the person with the camera should be slow and one has to bent if the height is too high for the camera. And hey, one flower is with me, Sorry, University, Sorry writer.Nice rose. Thankyou !

The pics came out good. The music is great too. Bindu has given a great suggestion above. On a totally different mode, if you could change the music to something high charged with sounds of thunder and stuff, it could also be used for a thriller sequence.

Bindu, marketing is not my forte! Steve thanks!I have realized Hobo, but after a few seconds I have this tendency to run, as if I am in a race. Have to master it somehow. And you re welcome to that rose!Paradox, I picked up that music from Youtube’s selection. Let me search for what you suggested 😀

Ramesh I did mean it in response to your simple living post. I mean I really do not crave for most goodies but I drool when it comes to travel (just backpacking) and even that costs some serious money. Sorry I did not explain it well. Good to see you blogging again.

Hey Mridula, I liked the video. Comeon, don’t be so harsh on yourself. I love amateur videos and who the hell wants to be a professional~??
