looks like it may become a cucumber or pumpkin..
they are pumpkin or bitter gourd…anyhow have a nice meal of them
I think its karela – bitter gourd…. i m sure you are waiting to take pics of the veg too!!!

I too think it is Pumpkin…or some member of the Cucurbitaceae family.
