Clicked this one while Chhavi was playing outside. Suddenly noticed the insect and decided to fetch the camera. Since the Pink Rain Lilies grow in our own garden (if I can call it so) I really do not get excited about then often.

Thanks Tarun.
Fida I am sure you still have a few plants if not a garden?
Thanks Anu.
Doli 😀 I often think before posting whether you are going to like it or not.
Mridula,
In case you are interested, the botanical name of this is: Zephyranthes (species: carinata).
Zephyranthes grow in abundance after the rains in the Himalayan region too. I recall reading a book years back by Anita Desai in which she makes a reference to these flowers blooming overnight in the mountains after the rains.
An awesome capture! And Great timing!
At the moment only a balcony, but full of plant 🙂
