Sunset at Kauz Khas Lake, New Delhi, India

Evening Glow at Hauz Khas Lake, New Delhi, India

Posted on February 15, 2013May 20, 2021

When I visited the Hauz Khas area in South Delhi for the first time in October 2012 I certainly did not expect to see a lake right in the middle of the chaotic city that is Delhi. But there it was right in front of my eyes. I decided to spend some time exploring the area and then head home.

But after spotting this lake I started my journey home after the sunset! I roamed around for good 2-3 hours in the end!

Perfect timing for the snap! Never did I see a lake in Hauz Khas even after being in Gurgaon for 4 years!
@ Meena: Bellandur lake does look serene sometimes if you can overlook the stench!

Absolutely beautiful! It was nice of them to put that dead tree just there to add contrast to the scene!
