Evening Colors

Evening Colors
Evening Colors

It is such a pity that I am no longer a morning person and when the sky changes colors in the evening I end up commuting back from work 5 days a week. Yesterday I was staying late at work due to the students college festival and decided to take my camera out for a stroll in the evening. The better pictures would appear from Skywatch the coming Friday but I liked this one a lot too. And there is a reason for it.

When I was listening to Steve Winter, he said most of us take pictures standing up but if we wish to change the perspective we should try kneeling down or even lying down to get another perspective. He said he has spent half his life on his knees. I tried kneeling down and liked the results.

Nice. Where in GGN is this exactly?

I was in town recently on more than one occasion but had a tight schedule. Would have loved to catch up 😐

Yes, sitting down, kneeling down gives a totally different perspective..

It is actually a very beautiful picture…but what does it conveys,
A lonely soul going into the twilights of its life,
    devoid of greens
    devoid of self
    devoid of leaves
    and devoid of needs.

Can’t believe this is Delhi… I have been looking at the evening sky (though on weekends) but found the skies too murky for this kind of a click…

Sangfroid, this is my college and I understand how busy such trips usually are!

Tarun thanks for the verses. This tree actually had company but I excluded it from my frame! And spring is round the corner! So the tree will change.

SiD this was on Saturday, even today the sky is beautiful at the moment let us see but if there are colors or the sun sets due to thick clouds.

    Good one.
There are times when I sit down on the ground and shoot pictures.
