I would have liked to call it a close shot till I saw this fly and this eye at Dave’s blog.

    PS, the splash series were done with a fast shutter speed, I think I took mine at 1/500 to 1/1000 if im not mistaken, ..and against a black background and lighting here and there. There were tens of droplets on that shot, I erased them all and leave just one to get that “wow”impression.

    Thanks Steve, I too need to spend that kind of a day once again 😀 I was doing all this photography when my daughter would take her afternoon nap.

    Ramesh, it is easy with a zoom lens, it just requires a little patience and ability to tolerate 100s of bad shots to get that one good shot.
