Dog Tired?

Posted on October 27, 2009

Surrounded by Traffic and Yet Asleep
I am wondering if he was dog tired? The mat gives an impression that this was a planned nap?

I empathize with him today cause I feel dog tired myself.

At least he is sleeping on a mat.And mat doesn't proves that it is planned one, he must have nothing to do..

The post reminds once I was at a remote railway station And train was at midnight. I was too tired And sleepy. A man was sleeping on the platform floor while covering half of his bedsheet And half was empty. The next moment I was beside covering the other half and Zzzzz till a friend said "train is coming."

Similar thing happened to me once. My midnight train got delayed by 6-7 hours – borrowed newspaper from a guy and used it as a mat. BTW I have uploaded more photos from my Peru trip: http://atulks.myphotoalbum.com/view_album.php?set_albumName=album81Click on each sub-album.

There's a Kannada saying "Chinte illadavanige santeyallu nidde" meaning, if you've no worries or tension bothering you, you can sleep peacefully even in a crowded market.

Reminds of hiding under the overhead water tank as a kid. Coolest place in the UP summer 😀
