If I have to look for file pictures of skies I look into the Spiti folder, for flowers I go to the Naldehra folder. But look at the flower again. It is full of rain drops and all I managed to click was this far away shot with hardly any emphasis on the strongest point…

The red rose was clicked at Naldehra in August, 2010, I wonder why it took me so long to post this one. Now when I look at these I like then a lot. And if you feel it is not red but some other shade, do let me know, I am pretty poor with colors.

Managed to find the name of the flower as usual from Flowers of India. I can still see the butterflies in the neighborhood. I have been promised by a gardener of a nursery that March is the month when I should come back to his patch and he would let me click the flowers and the butterflies.
