As I was saying in the last post, the Purple Sunbird and the Tailor Bird are the regulars these days. I should actually record the way the tailor bird goes Tweet Tweet! This is the one that really twitters.

Sometimes I wonder why do I even bother to click birds! They fly away at the slightest of the movement, they would not let you come close and my zoom would not let me click them from too far away. I miss the days when I was content with clicking flowers. I also feel I…

Wish I had more zoom, and I think by the end of this month I will buy a new camera with a lot of zoom. I am busy with writing about the data that I gathered from those 196 195 country links that I mentioned in the previous post.

Where did I find these Red Wattled Lapwings? Near the car park of my workplace!

The Brahminy Kite was actually flying quite low near a lake in Bangalore when I clicked this picture. They would dip their claws in the water and then start flying upwards again. This one was coming down to make a swoop at the fish in the water. But I never saw them catching any fish.

And I am not blaming the birds, they have to use what they get, be it plastic to make their nests.

Managed to get closer shots of the Purple Sunbird! It has been teasing me for such a long time! Managed one more today so I thought I will add one more photo of the sunbird.

This Egret was moving along with a cow. It is the same one that let me take out the camera battery and put it back again to take this picture. And it looks like I am good at taking picture of only such type of patient birds. Most of the other pictures seem to be…
