Butterflies from Barog

Posted on July 25, 2009

Butterflies from Barog, Himachal Pradesh, India

I have to say I almost take all my pictures breathlessly! And when they turn out to be even marginally good, I thank my lucky stars! I know this is not much of a discussion as far as photography techniques go, but it is actually quite close to truth!

Mridula, I'll be honest on this, you must thank your star. You have tried very well, picture of the flower is near perfect, but some more breathlessness was required for the butterflies. Any how its a good picture.

It also would require some presence of mind to click a picture and not just stand there mesmerized by the beauty.

Tarun, :DThank you Hobo you are kind.VS I click and then look! Or after spotting something that I wish to click, I immediately go for it and then if the butterflies, birds are still there I try to look 😀

Ridima and Bindu, thank you. Ridima another way to take good photographs is to go to places that are very beautiful! Pictures come out well on their own!
